It reminded me of a quote by Aleandria Ocasio-Cortez who said: "Stop trying to navigate systems of power and start building your own power."

We should stop blaming "female behavior" or claiming women hold themselves back but rather challenge the system that was built by men for men. Instead of adjusting to a system that works against us, let's create a new way of working together.

E.g. offering a higher pay without the worker asking for it, or utilizing meeting structures that make everyone speak (e.g. silent brainstorm and share out loud one after the other).
