Hi Stephen,

depends on your motive for fasting. I fast because of the benefits described in this article (mental clarity, increased body awareness, gratitude,...). That's why I'll continue to fast twice a year despite eating vegan.

The only thing that changed for me is that eating vegan made it a lot easier to ease into the fasting period (less cravings, no headache).
