Hi Kelvin, good questions. It depends on the purpose behind your database/Zettelkasten. As a writer, I want to stumble across literature notes as well. When I wrote this article, for example, the related permanent AND literature notes showed up. I often reference books within my articles and first looking at the permanent note would mean one additional step for me. Yet, this step might not make sense for your Zettelkasten :)
