Hi Greg - I write and research in Roam.

The only reason I use xTiles for idea capturing is it's UX/UI.

Roam feels to static for me - I love to move pictures and ideas around, and have more like a "board" feeling.

I capture all my ideas in xTiles. I pick an idea in xTiles. I create a page with the first headline idea for the article in Roam. I paste all resources from my xTiles idea into Roam. Then I close xTiles and use the # in Roam to identify relevant resources. And I write in Roam.
