Thanks for your comment. I'd love to explore the science of pattern recognition in human learning but I can't find solid evidence on it. There is Ray Kurzweil's theory in “How to Create a Mind: The Secret of Human Thought Revealed” which I find insufficiently supported to go into this article. I would be grateful for any hints or keywords to explore this topic further!
